The best way to learn about anything, according to this North Bay museum dedicated to kids 10 and younger, is hands-on. These exhibits on natural science, art and multimedia invite kids to play with them. Kids learn how to outsmart a maze, create art that tests the limits of their creativity, and uncover the mechanics of how the San Francisco Bay operates. Fort Baker, which houses the museum, has a breathtaking view of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Tickets: USD8.50 Adults, USD7.50 kids; cash only. For families, free admission on second Saturdays between 1 and 5 pm.
