This self-consciously unpretentious bit of Southwestiana may be a bit precious in its decor, but the food is seriously good. Wood-roasted chicken, filet mignon, and an uptown take on macaroni and cheese are among the specialties of the house and, though simple, they are prepared to perfection and served with warm efficiency to the local country club set. More inventive dishes that are just as good include Char-Rare Buffalo Carpaccio and Porcini and Truffle Ravioli. Fridays and Saturdays, there is live jazz for a mellow groove to go with your meal.
