This sort of place, airy, full of pampered greenery and an eclectic menu of regional and national cuisines, has almost become a cliche in Northern California. Yet when an establishment is this well-run and the food this good, it soars ably above that cliche. The dining area is bright, casually elegant and offers excellent service for local shoppers and business types taking a break from their day. Thai-style chicken vies with Maryland Crab Cakes and Veal with Apple Butter on the menu. The ingredients, as you would expect in an upscale place in this part of the country, are farm fresh and the selections change seasonally to take advantage of that.
