Chef Paul Grutter's idea of a great restaurant is that its should be like visiting a friend's home for a great meal, and that is exactly the ambiance that he has achieved here. The restaurant is small and intimate with an impeccably trained wait staff that adds to the welcome. The decor is casually elegant with pale shades and indirect lighting predominating. It is a wonderful setting for cuisine that changes seasonally, but always features dishes prepared with the finest fresh ingredients. Examples include venison filet mignon, Lobster Bisque with Saffron Citrus Sorbet, and Swiss Chocolate Mousse with pear liqueur. The wine list is outstanding with vintages from all over the world.
