Forget the name, the only thing even remotely reminiscent of Alaska here is the perfectly grilled salmon. The mood, like the clientele, is casually upscale and distinctly Marin, with pastel walls and a laid-back attitude that does not interfere with the great service from the personable wait staff. Everything on the menu, from the terrific spinach salad to the grilled lamb to the strawberry shortcake, is 100 percent organic and 100 percent delicious.
