In Italian, cioppino means "stew." Not coincidentally, the house specialty is Cioppino, a seafood tomato stew with crabs, calamari, mussels and cod. The restaurant also serves a variety of pasta dishes including Crab Cancoli—pasta with crabmeat and blended cheeses. This third-generation family-owned restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating in full view of the San Francisco Bay. Reservations are recommended for dinner and on the weekends.
