On a Sunday in the fall, more than a dozen well-known comedians gather in Golden Gate Park to perform in this free outdoor party. Donations are accepted for a worthy San Francisco cause (a different one every year). Bring a blanket and a picnic basket or purchase food from the variety of food and drink vendors on hand. It is a great way to spend the day in the fresh air and sunshine (or fog, depending on the whims of Mother Nature). Some vendors may accept credit cards. See website for yearly particulars.
