This is a neighborhood restaurant with decidedly upscale food. It is also a little more adventurous, with Jellyfish tossed with Scallion Oil and Sea Cucumbers with Pork on the menu, in addition to the more traditional Chinese-for-Americans items, including vegetarian. There is usually a line on weekends, but the food is worth the wait. The Caramel Eggplant (an entree, not dessert) is sweet and savory, with just a hint of smoke.
