This jewelry store's roots go deep in the Bay Area. Locally born owner Margie Rogerson gained famed in the early '70s when her pricey velvet capes and wraps got the attention of notable celebrities like Joni Mitchell. Once flowing capes became passé, Goldberry shifted her focus to fine jewelry for the San Francisco elite- and only the elite can afford to buy it. A hefty price tag comes with each exclusive platinum and gemstone design. The showroom, as well as the jewelry, is quite breathtaking but do not plan on just stopping by.
