This Union Square hotel, located at the foot of Nob Hill, is an homage to the 1930s literary and art movements in San Francisco. In fact, today its salon and bar is the site of many local art and literary events. An antiquarian bookstore connected to the lobby features hundreds of classic titles and seems to favor San Francisco authors. The hotel decor is rich and vibrant, filled with dark mahogany woods, blood reds, and lush greens. It is a deluxe local establishment that caters to guests who travel in style.
