This festival, held over two days and featuring a dragon boat race and other activities, is held in the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, falling in September. Dozens of teams participate, rowing dragon boats over a stretch of 500 metres. Others head here to view the traditional dances and martial art demonstrations, sample the tasty Chinese food, buy handicrafts, and avail of massage and acupuncture treatments.
