This Haight Street restaurant specializes in East African cuisine, specifically from Eritrea. Recognized for authentic traditional recipes made with unique spices, fresh vegetables and meats, it has been voted as the best African restaurants by various local publications. What makes it even more cozy is that orders for two or more people are served family-style on one large plate. Casual and comfortable, it is a popular spot with all types of locals and the service is great. The window seats are especially good for watching the street theater on Haight Street.
