Chosen by the Bay Guardian as "the best place to toast the impending demise of Capitalism," this bar has no snappy menu, never features live music, and yet it has flourished since 1923. How? Ask one of the regulars (almost everyone here is a regular). For those who like their drinks served quickly and without any pretense, this is the place.
