This is a spacious place to pick up good quality souvenirs at nice prices. You don't have to worry about accidentally knocking anything over going down the wide aisles of this nondescript shop on the second floor of the Japan Center. Traditional tea sets in a variety of styles are $35-45. Ceramic and lacquer-ware serving and dining items are $5 and up to about $50. You can also get electric rice cookers (prices vary) imported from Japan, where they know how to make perfect rice every time. It's also a great place to get collectible Japanese dolls in traditional costumes, including the Hakata ceramic type (priced from $60 to $300) and fine quality display cases to put them in.
