This local chain is known for its produce (including a good selection of organics) and the upscale nature of all its grocery items. Looking for a regional French goat-cheese or mango salsa? This is the place. (Its Sausalito location's parking lot is famous for Albert Brooks and Debbie Reynolds strolling through it in the film Mother.) The wine selection is easily the envy of smaller wine shops and the staff is friendly and very helpful, whether whipping up a sandwich in the deli or reaching for an item on the top shelf.
