This is one of many stops you can make on a night of bar-hopping down Columbus Avenue. Despite the rather grand entrance, it is a basic kind of place. You get a stool, you get a beer, and you probably get some good people watching. Plus, this is a neighborhood bar, so you also get cheap prices on drinks. There is no hipper-than-thou dress code, either, so sit back, sip a strong one and enjoy the passing parade. Note: Cash only.
