The ambiance here is like an upscale Old World Italian trattoria of a century ago with its high ceilings, moulded plaster and polished mahogany bar. Rich soups (Minestrone is always on the menu with one or two others that change daily), hearty pastas and satisfying gnocchis prepared al dente with nicely executed sauces reflect many regional styles, and flavorful entrees such as Osso Buco, Veal Picatta, and Roast Chicken are also part of the menu.
