Are you culturally curious? One of the little known celebrations in San Francisco is the annual Russian Festival held every February. The festivities include opera performances, an exhibition of traditional Russian artwork, folk dancing and singing displays. The traditional decorated eggs, painstakingly painted with brushes only a few hairs thick, are always intriguing. In addition, a variety of traditional Russian foods and flavored vodkas are sold. It is a good time for the entire family. See their website for further details.
