For decades, the San Francisco Blues Festival has brought the boogie to the city by the bay. On Fort Mason's sculpted and dune-like (and usually windswept) lawn, revelers of all ages gather for twangy jam sessions with all-star headliners like Robert Randolph, as well as understated singer-songwriter showcases with bona fide Louisiana legends such as Allen Toussaint.
