It is arguable that there are more indie filmmakers per square inch in San Francisco than anywhere else in the world, even Hollywood. This winter festival, also known as SF Indie Fest, is dedicated to them all, the talented filmmakers with limited budgets but big dreams. There are films from other cities, too, but it is the San Francisco attitude that prevails with films that push envelopes some people did not even know existed. In addition to screenings, various after parties and happy-hour gatherings can be attended. Films are screened at the Roxie Cinema, Castro Theater and the Victoria.
