A second home |
851 California Street San Francisco, CA 94108 +1 415 421 2335 www.sanfranciscoresidenceclub.com |
Originally an apartment building built in 1906, this building was destroyed in the Great Earthquake and Fire, restored, then converted into a residence club in the 1940s. For 23 years, the Donahue Family has owned it and plan to keep it a secure and quiet haven. That may be why tourists, business travelers, and students from all over the world have chosen to stay here. If you are on an extended trip, this may be the right place to call "home" for awhile. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and individual, though some have shared bath. There are amazing views of the Bay, Angel Island, and Twin Peaks from some of the rooms. The Financial District, Chinatown, and Union Square are in close proximity. Rates are daily, weekly, or monthly. Only cash is accepted. Review © 2009, Wcities |
