Go back in time to a place where high tea was a social device, a comforting tradition, and always a full-scale production. Located a stone's throw from Golden Gate park, between 8th and 9th Avenue, The Secret Garden Tea House and gift shop does not scrimp on all the frills and touches necessary to make its customers feel like they are living in a Jane Austen novel. In addition to a light lunch menu, the tea house serves bite-sized sandwiches, pastries, and of course, a selection of teas. The tea room is available to rent for parties and events.
