For anyone interested in the music of Japan, Sharaku provides an inspiring and educational experience. The Koto, the Shamisen, the Shakuhachi and the taiko drum are only a few of the many beautiful traditional Japanese instruments resting amongst the other Japanese-American items on sale at this more-than-music store. The staff is more than willing to demonstrate how the intricate creations are played and they also do appraisals and repairs.
