This tiny store on the bridge between two of Japantown malls specializing in antique kimonos. The garments range in price from a few hundred to a few thousand, depending on the age, materials and craftsmanship. Most of these are meant to be worn, if only for special occasions, but a few, such as a fantasy in quilted gold brocade, are intended as wall displays (special hangers available). Beautiful Obi Sashes are available in vibrant colors and patterns. There are also a few new cotton kimonos and coats in traditional patterns of bamboo or flying cranes. Review © 2009, Wcities |
