The asparagus faithful gather each April for three days to celebrate the green spear, from field to dinner plate. Here you can wander through the asparazone and purchase all sorts of asparastuff while munching asparaburritos, asparagus nachos with asparagus salsa, and, for the truly stout of heart, asparaberry shortcake. Live music is always on hand and the events include a classic car show, a 5K spear-it run, and recipe contests (check out the jam and cookie categories).
