What started as an authentic Swedish pastry shop has expanded into a cafe serving open-faced sandwiches, Swedish meatloaf and light salads. The decor is all huge windows, lace curtains, an odd but fascinating collection of antique rolling pins, and huge display cases full of real Danish pastries. The brisk counter help serves up Princess Cakes and other Swedish specialties (many featuring lingonberries), to the locals who crowd this place. You can enjoy the delicious, buttery pastries plus a great cup of java at one of the tables or out on the deck. There is nothing better outside of Stockholm. Review © 2009, Wcities |
