Founded by Ubiquity Records' Michael and Jodi McFadden in 1989, this friendly record shop is now run by San Francisco DJs Cool Chris and Tom Thump. Featuring a large selection of used jazz, latin, soul and hip-hop disc, along with new reggae and jungle pressings, the Merchant is a collectors and breakbeat artist's dream.
