Dining in the Belmont hills |
815 Belmont Avenue San Francisco, CA 94002 +1 650 591 6525 http://www.thevansrestaurant.com/ |
Nestled in the Belmont hills, this was originally the Japanese Tea House for the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. Breathtaking views of the bay, comfortable booths, and a cozy ambience characterize this eatery. There is also a football card which entitles you to a free dinner, if the eight pro teams you pick for the weekend win. Try the Onion Soup Au Gratin, it deserves a special mention, as does the rich chocolate mousse. Come by on Wednesdays between 3p and 6p to avail of the Two-for-One Appetizers, or enjoy the Hors d'Oeuvre buffet from Monday through Friday between 4p and 6p. Review © 2009, Wcities |
