This Castro institution looks like it might have been moved lock, stock, and linoleum floor from any small town in the hinterlands of America. You can almost imagine Barney Fife sharing a cup of coffee at one of the Formica tables with Goober or Mayberry's sheriff himself, Andy Taylor. The menu is classic American diner food dished up by folks who cater to a regular clientele and who treat everyone else as though they were.
