You may have heard somewhere that it's fun to stay at the YMCA. It's true here. Though the rooms are very bare-bones and the location is not the city's best, you are getting a great bargain. For less than $60, you get a clean room, fitness facilities, and proximity to everything San Francisco has to offer, including City Hall, the War Memorial Opera House, the SF Symphony, and the Civic Center BART station.
