Zatis is a cozy restaurant in the up and coming area of Piedmont Avenue, Oakland. Zatis ambiance is simple with fine quality food. Mediterranean specialties like Lamb Kabob, Aubergine and Turkish Coffee are savory favorites. While one would feel quite comfortable dining alone, the rich tastes of the large selection of the dishes are more conducive to large parties and communal plates. Zatis is something of an undiscovered Mediterranean gem, with good service but few crowds. Menu is offered in English and Turkish. Parking readily available in lot behind restaurant.
