Diners escape the noise of downtown Seattle for the relative calm of West Seattle at this humble Italian eatery, which is part of the larger Trattoria Mitchelli chain. The atmosphere in this good-sized restaurant is simple family warmth, enhanced by a fireplace. The dress is casual and the patrons are often groups of friends or families. The dishes are all standard fare including lasagna, Chicken Piccata and a variety of pasta, but they are expertly prepared and reasonably priced.
