The floor-to-ceiling shelves (complete with ladders for access), the winding back rooms and the vertigo-inducing loft are all crammed with used and rare treasures. The selection ranges from specialties like Bukowski and the Beat poets to cheap sci-fi and military history. There's something for everyone, and what the shop lacks in comfort (glaring fluorescent lighting, no seats for relaxing), it makes up for in affordability.
