This mall has undergone many changes over the years but continues to meet the needs of the Capitol Hill locals. Besides being the only public space protected from the rain, the market also offers the only public parking garage. It does have a Gap, an Urban Outfitters, a Gold's Gym and a QFC, but it's also got funky stores and restaurants with a twist. Independent vendors sell jewelry and other knick-knacks from pushcarts, and there are indispensable services such as a video rental shop, a shoe repair shop, and a florist.
