Federal Way is midway between Seattle and Tacoma, and is a perfect place to stop for a picnic if your plans have you traveling to one city from the other. Its 475 acres include 14 miles of trails and 138 campsites. Reservations should be made if you plan to use the camping facilities between April 15 and September 15.
