This is a Seattle institution, and locals are defensive about it. It may not look like much more than a 1950s drive-in, but there is always a line. Hand-dipped milkshakes, fresh-cut French fries and a few hamburger variations are about the extent of the menu. A true Seattlite always, always comes back. There are four other Seattle locations, all drive-ins except at 500 North Queen Anne Avenue, (+1 206 285 5155).
