Originally part of the Arctic Club, a men's club created by those who made fortunes during the Alaska Gold Rush, this elegant room has hosted weddings, receptions, banquets and other social functions for nearly 85 years. Especially beautiful in the evening hours when the backlit stained-glass dome glows warmly, the room accommodates up to 300 guests reception-style, up to 250 for seated meals. The rental charge includes the room, tables and chairs only. Food, beverages, tableware and general cleanup are the renter's responsibility. Room rental is $910 Sunday through Friday and $1210 on Saturday, for six event hours with additional time allowed for setup and cleanup. Additional time is billed at $100 per hour.
