It is not often that one finds the words gourmet and cafe linked together, but in this case the unexpected is fully justified. There is nothing glamorous about the decor here. The floor reflects more than it should, and to get to the food you have to wend your way through racks of Russian candies, crackers and beverages, but the food is marvelous. The Beef Stroganoff is spiced to perfection, and the Stuffed Cabbage may not be good for you, but it is delicious. Review © 2009, Wcities |
