Just five doors up from its practical-minded parent shop, The Woolly Mammoth, this shoe store is a typically reckless offspring. It still focuses on sturdy shoes, but in youthful, trendy styles. Doc Martens are plentiful, as are urban Mary Janes, oxfords, clogs and boots. If a pair of Annex shoes doesn't take a few years off your age, it will at least add a few tottering inches to your height.
