In Fremont, the "center of the universe", as its welcoming sign would have you believe, neighborhood spots like this prevail. Simple, understated and just plain cozy, this neighborhood eatery ushers you straight to the pizza, which is where your attention should be. Though the restaurant offers a range of dishes beyond pizza, mainly pastas, don't be distracted by them. Just order yourself a perfectly seasoned slice of thin crust chewy pepperoni or, if you are so inclined, try the artichoke hearts, and let it take you to warmer Mediterranean climes.
