Formerly the Edmond Meany Hotel, this hotel, built in 1931, is now run by Best Western. Designed by Robert C. Reamer, who also designed the Skinner Building downtown, this Art Deco building overlooks the University District's bustling shopping and collegiate scene. The octagonal tower provides excellent views of the campus, the city, and nearby lakes and mountains. Coffee and news are available in the Tully's downstairs. Review © 2009, Wcities |
