For years, this tiny storefront housed the original bakery and shop for Fran's Chocolates. Chef Jim Watkins bought the building and transformed it into a restaurant that skillfully blends the elegant with the informal. Given the small size, it's remarkable how the wee bar and scattering of tables feel cozy, not cramped. The food is Watkins' usual blend of attractive presentation and twists on traditional Southern and Caribbean dishes, such as Spicy Chicken Sausage with Collard Greens, rice, red beans, cornbread and yam puree.
