Magnolia Bluff

Seattle
Magnolia Bluff, or Magnolia for short, is a peninsula northwest of Downtown. The area is actually somewhat cut off from the rest of Seattle by a railroad line, having only three bridges that cross the tracks. This separation lends a sense of island serenity that residents and visitors can enjoy. A great place to take advantage of the calm is Discovery Park, which is Seattle's largest park and home to a variety of wildlife including herons, eagles, falcons, foxes, and beavers. Seven miles of trails weave around the park and extend all the way to Puget Sound. Elswehere on the peninsula, the Magnolia Village shopping district offers attractive shops and restaurants.
