Seattle has an extremely good bus system. The buses go everywhere, even to outlying suburbs. They almost always run on time. They are clean and the drivers are courteous and helpful. The system also offers an array of bus passes to frequent travelers, discounted rates for seniors and more. The bus is an easy and inexpensive way to see the city and the Metro office happily answers questions about routes, fares and passes. Help is available by phone until midnight seven days a week.
