Though the street outside is one of the busiest in Bellevue, you would never know it from the oasis environment of this lovely eatery. The lighting is suitably dimmed and the thick walls provide ample buffer from the outside traffic. Diners are encouraged to linger over their meals in quiet conversation. The spicing is perfect for those who don't like their Indian dishes to explode in their mouths. Curries have just enough zip to catch your attention, but not so much that they monopolize it. The exception to this rule is the nearly nuclear Vindaloos. An extra order of heat diffusing naan (bread) is suitable here. From Monday through Saturday the restaurant has a lunch buffet.
