The "cafe" part is misleading, since this glass-walled storefront has minimal seating. But the "other coast" phrasing seems to be a nod to the fabled sandwich delis of New York, which this joint comes closing to rivaling. The lunchtime snackers and evening workers picking up takeout dinner only add to the New York City feel. The large glass display case is crammed full of different kinds of meats. The sandwiches, which usually combine multiple meats and spicy sauces, stand higher than most mouths can stretch. Review © 2009, Wcities |
