Diners smell the pizza baking as they stroll by this popular pizzeria. The pizza is piping hot and the beer cold from the tap. Rustic in an all wood sort of way, the space has a feel of warmth and comfortability. Televisions adorn all four walls, and are usually set to a different sport, but they are set low enough to allow customers to enjoy conversation. There is a deck/patio on the side of the restaurant, perfect for watching passersby along busy Eastlake Avenue on a warm summer's day. Pizza and thick, cheesy calzones are the stars here, but you can also order sandwiches, a variety of other pasta dishes, or salads—the fresh mozzarella salad is good. A full bar is also available.
