Restaurateur Raffaele Calise lost his original Salute to his ex-wife, but he did not lose his flare for hospitality and Italian cookery. Opened in 1996 and decorated with terra cotta tiles and exposed beams, the new location makes a lively showcase for Calise's talents. Well prepared and presented, pastas and gnocchi in robust sauces will not disappoint, but don't be shy about ordering the meat entrees either.
