This stylish Magnolia restaurant may yet make this residential neighborhood a tourist destination. The high ceiling and warm colors make this a comfortable place for a wonderful meal. Linen-topped tables surround a fireplace, and a huge, curved counter offers a view of the kitchen. The cuisine combines contemporary Northwest fare with a touch of Central Europe. Chef Szmania, originally from Dusseldorf, Germany, offers dishes from home including jaegerschnitzel and sauerkraut with smoked pork loin and German sausage.
