Tup Tim Thai

Efficient and genial Thai joint
118 West Mercer Street
Seattle, WA 98119
+1 206 281 8833
Named for the hapless runaway slave in 'The King and I', this mauve-colored Thai eatery is just the kind of place you run away to, to avoid the neon noise of Mercer Street. It's usually crowded and clamorous, but the service is swift, the atmosphere strangely relaxing. Most folks come here for a quick weekday lunch or a pre-show dinner, Seattle Center being just down the street. The lunch specials are a great bargain; as you get vegetable soup, rice and a main dish for an extremely affordable range.
